The Dog Who Changed Everything

The Dog Who Changed Everything

A true story about bravery

I dreamed about a real dog named Endal. He was a service dog in England who helped a man named Allen who couldn't move very well after an accident.

One day Allen got hit by a car right in front of Endal. Allen was lying on the ground, not moving. Most dogs would panic or run away. But Endal didn't.

First, Endal pulled Allen into the recovery position so he could breathe better. Then he covered him with a blanket from Allen's wheelchair. Then—and this is the wild part—Endal ran to a nearby hotel, barked until someone followed him, and led them back to Allen. He saved Allen's life.

But here's what got me: Endal had never been trained to do any of that. He just figured it out because he loved Allen and wanted to help.

After that day, Endal became famous. He won awards. He met the Queen of England. But Allen said Endal's real superpower wasn't the fancy stuff—it was showing up every single day, even when things were hard.
