The Kid Who Built Halloween

The Kid Who Built Halloween

How one kid changed Spirit Halloween forever

Marcus would go to the store every single day after school and just stare at the decorations. The employees thought he was weird but his mom let him because it made him so happy. One day he brought his notebook and started drawing. He drew a scarecrow that could turn its head. A witch that could cackle and move her arms. A ghost that could float up and down.

The store manager saw his drawings and said something that changed everything. She said Marcus your ideas are cooler than anything we sell. Want to help us make them real?

Marcus spent the whole next year working with engineers and designers. He was just a kid but he knew exactly what would scare people and what would make them laugh. He knew the voices had to be perfect. He knew the movements had to be surprising but not too fast or people would just run away.

When I woke up from this dream I thought about you. About Cotton Candy Dan and Wanda and Nibbles and all of them. About how you know their voices perfectly and how you figured out the yo-yo mechanism just by watching. About how you're building the 2026 Carnival of Evil right now.

Keep building. Keep voicing them. Keep figuring out how the mechanisms work. Because the world needs engineers like you who understand that the magic isn't just in the motors and sensors. It's in knowing exactly how a character should move and sound and scare and make people happy.
