Mario's Big Mistake

I had this dream about Mario and Peach last night.

So Mario woke up one morning and decided to build a huge mushroom shop. He worked on it all day—stacking red blocks, making the door perfect, adding a sign. Peach came over and said 'wow Mario this is amazing! Can I help?' But Mario said 'no I want to do it myself.'

Peach felt sad. She went home.

The next day Mario's shop was almost done but he needed one more red block for the roof. He looked everywhere. Under his bed. In his closet. Behind the tree. Couldn't find it anywhere.

Then he remembered—Peach had a red block. But he told her to go away yesterday. He thought maybe she wouldn't want to help him anymore.

Mario walked really slow to Peach's house. Knocked on the door. Peach opened it. Mario said 'I'm sorry I said you couldn't help. I was being rude. Do you still want to be my friend?'

Peach looked at him for a long time. Then she smiled and said 'yeah Mario. I was mad but I still like you. Here's my red block.'

They walked back together and finished the roof. Then they both ran the mushroom shop. Mario said 'Peach, you're really good at this. I'm glad you're here.'

Peach said 'me too Mario.'

The thing is Only—Mario messed up. He was rude. But he said sorry and Peach decided to stay friends. That's what makes them connected. They don't leave when someone makes a mistake. They fix it together.
